I’m a painter, teacher, and arts administrator based in Park City, Utah.

Heather Stamenov is a painter with a sense of humor and an interest in the surreal. Her work places familiar human gestures into unfamiliar environments — women swimming through snow, pole dancers set within open landscapes — creating images that are strange, playful, and quietly sincere.

Heather holds a BA in Art Education and a BFA in Painting from Herron School of Art and Design and an MFA in Painting from the University of Connecticut. She has exhibited nationally, completed artist residencies, and taught visual art to students of all ages.
